On November 24, 2003 Aspyn became a big sister, and Wayne and I were blessed with a baby girl. Her name is Gentry Hope and she weighed 7lbs 4 oz.

Gentry just celebrated her first birthday! Three days later we left for Mayo clinic to see Dr. Whiteman and Dr. O'Leary. Gentry had blood work done the first day, after three excruciating tries they finally got the blood they needed, but in the process she broke the blood vessels in both arms.

Shortly after her blood work we met with Dr. O'Leary and Gentry had a Echocardiogram which came back just perfect! The next day we met with Dr. Whiteman, he was at first concerned about her lactic acid, but after seeing the broken blood vessels in her arms he figured the high levels were due to such a hard blood draw. He examined her and told us he thought she looked great. He told us we should keep an eye on her weight gain, as she has fallen from the 20th percentile to the 5th percentile. He feels Gentry is healthy, and as of now he doesn't think she will need to be seen again unless something has us concerned.

Gentry is a true blessing, she keeps us very busy, but busy is good!! We enjoy every minute we have with her, and we are so thankful that she is healthy!!!
